iPhone, iPad and iPod iOS 6 updates reach 100 million

The Apple iPhone 5 just beat the iPhone 4S sales record by registering 5 million sold units in its opening weekend, but that was short of analysts expectations. What’s not short of any expectations is the amazingly fast rate at which iOS devices are getting updated to Apple’s newest iOS 6. 

Now, less than a week after iOS 6 was released, more than 100 million compatible devices have already been updated to the new version. 

Apple is delivering the update conveniently over the air. 

iOS 6 brings 200 new features, but the majority of them are little tweaks and the biggest change should come in an improved Siri app, deeper Facebook integration and a new beautiful but disappointing functionally maps application from Apple.
